I would
like to send my condolences to Yvonne and family, Barry, Robin, Leslie and their
families and especially to Barbara Gibb. She has now stood and watched two of her sons die. As
a parent you never expect your children to die before you do. so this has to be extremely hard
on her.
As a fan I wish I could tell you how much joy and light
Maurice brought into my life. His smile, laughter, music
and songwriting will always be remembered. He
always went out of his way for his fans and never once
acted like the 'star' he truly was. When you met him he
was just Maurice Gibb, ordinary man.
I have always felt he was a beacon of light in the dark for so many
fans. He could turn tears of sorrow into tears of laughter with his laugh and humor.
Even though he is gone that beacon of light will always shine in my heart.
Prayers and thoughts are being sent
your way from around the world. I know our grief can never match the grief you must feel but
please know our love for Maurice will never die or waver.
